Susan Shehata

Susan Shehata brings a wealth of experience in global infrastructure investment to the JERA Nex board. During a distinguished career she spent 18 years with HSBC where her roles included Global Co-Head for Infrastructure and Real Estate Finance, overseeing debt advisory, project finance, lending, and capital markets, across energy, transport, digital, and social infrastructure.

She also served as a non-executive Senior Advisor and independent member of the Investment Committee at John Laing, a leading infrastructure group. She currently holds positions as a Board member of Lincolnshire Housing Partnership, and infrastructure consultant at Paul Hastings Europe in London, where she is based.
