Satoshi Yajima

Satoshi Yajima is a highly experienced energy executive, whose 34 years in the industry have covered a number of different sectors. Satoshi started his career with the Marubeni Corporation in 1990 where he learned his trade promoting the development of private power generation projects across the world.

In 2002 he joined TEPCO where he continued his involvement in the development of energy projects in southeast Asia and the Middle East. He joined JERA Co at the company’s inception in 2016, where he has had senior roles in business developments and in the nascent renewable energy business.

In April 2024 he became JERA’s Chief Renewable Energy Officer and Chief Solutions Services Officer.
